Large side mirror for Lada Niva
Distance between the centers of the mounting holes: 76 mm. Fits precisely onto the existing mounting holes on your Niva; a third hole must be drilled below them. Screws and a gasket are included.
The mirror should be wired using an additional switch and a resistor. The switch is intended to activate and deactivate the heating function. You can find a suitable switch with a matching look in our shop under item number 791, and the resistor under item number 3206.
Technical specifications:
Mirror dimensions: 300 × 270 × 65 mm
Mirror element dimensions: 210 × 140 mm
Radius of curvature of the mirror surface: 1800 (± 100) mm
Operating temperature: from −50 °C to +50 °C
Reflectivity (visible light): at least 40% (European standard)
Additional information for the mirror with heating function:
Heating supply voltage: 10–15 volts
Current consumption of the heating element: 1.7–2 amperes
Power consumption of the heating element: 15–18 watts
Warm-up time at an outside temperature of −20 °C: maximum 3–4 minutes
Mounting the mirror on the vehicle:
The mirror is mounted on the vehicle's front door.
To do this, a hole with a diameter of 7.9 mm is drilled below the mounting stud/fastening element.
The mirror is then secured using the included screws and a 4.2 mm diameter self-tapping screw. This is screwed into the corresponding mounting hole.
Next, adjust the mirror to your preferred position and secure it using an M6 bolt (see Figure 1).
Please note: The springs in the mirror's folding mechanism may loosen over time with use. The M4 nut is used to adjust the spring tension.
If you do not need to fold the mirror regularly, tighten the spring as far as it will go (see Figure 1).
Connecting the mirror heating:
The mirror heating should only be connected by a specialized automotive workshop.
The heated mirror must only be installed while the vehicle's electrical system is completely de-energized.
The cables should be routed along existing cable harnesses.
It is possible to connect the mirror heating via a separate switch and a dedicated fuse.
You are purchasing 1 pair.
