Tightening torque
For the Lada Niva from 2016 onwards with a new wheel bearing system (ball bearings), specialist forums and workshop documentation specify high tightening torques in the range of approx. 235–260 Nm. 2 As there are different designs and engine types, the exact torque should always be selected according to the Lada workshop manual for the vehicle or the manufacturer's specifications.
