The bracket is clamped onto the gutter and screwed tight, no drilling required.

If you are looking for a roof rack for a roof tent, there are a few important points to consider:
Carrier system: Make sure that the carrier is compatible with your vehicle. For example, measure the roof width before buying and compare the roof length with the roof rack you plan to buy. There are different types of carrier systems, e.g. for cars with or without railings.
Load capacity: Check the maximum load capacity of the carrier. Your roof tent or outdoor equipment has a certain weight, and it is important that the carrier can carry this. A roof rack that can take a lot of weight has lots of brackets/feet so that the weight is evenly distributed across the roof of your vehicle.
