Very sturdy welded roof basket. The load can be optimally secured here, the high edge of the basket provides a secure hold.
The mounting takes place on cross braces or railing supports. We supply the appropriate brackets for mounting. The cross braces are not included here. You can find these in our shop under items 2944 and 2943. In one of the pictures you can see how the mounting on the cross bars works.
You have 4 mounting points at the front for side headlights or high beam headlights.

If you are looking for a roof rack for a roof tent, there are a few important points to consider:
Carrier system: Make sure that the carrier is compatible with your vehicle. For example, measure the roof width before buying and compare the roof length with the roof rack you plan to buy. There are different types of carrier systems, e.g. for cars with or without railings.
Load capacity: Check the maximum load capacity of the carrier. Your roof tent or outdoor equipment has a certain weight, and it is important that the carrier can bear it. A roof rack that can bear a lot of weight has many holders/feet so that the weight is evenly distributed across the roof of your vehicle.
Accessories: Some carrier systems offer additional accessories such as fastening systems to securely attach the load to the roof rack. If a roof rack has a rail, it can be very helpful with particularly large loads. The rail prevents your equipment from slipping and you can secure it better. Long parts such as a parasol can also be permanently mounted on the rail, and spades or car jacks can also find a secure hold along the rail. Other roof racks can have a ladder, which is practical for being able to climb comfortably to the roof tent on the roof of the vehicle.
Another practical accessory for a roof rack can be prefabricated mounting brackets for the high beam lights, LED headlights or fog lights.
