POLYURETHANE is a very durable and resilient material and does not become porous.
In our experience, standard rubber components such as gaiters, bushings and buffers on Lada vehicles unfortunately do not last long. Most of our customers report that they replace the rubber components every 2 years. That is why we have found a manufacturer who produces all these components from polyurethane. The service life of the polyurethane parts far exceeds that of the standard parts. Once the polyurethane components are fitted, you will benefit from their durability for a long time.
Installation instructions for polyurethane parts:
When fitting new polyurethane parts to drive shafts, ball joints and other metal components, the metal parts must be cleaned of rust and rubber residue. Uneven surfaces and sharp edges at the fitting points should be smoothed out. Damaged or deformed drive shafts or ball joints should be replaced with new ones.
Before fitting the polyurethane parts, the contact points with the drive shafts, ball studs and other metal parts should be treated with lithium grease.
