Very stable steel roof rack, welded basket with grid floor, railing and many struts. You have 4 mounting points at the front for side headlights or high beams.
This roof rack has a practical railing, height approx. 12 cm. The load can be optimally secured here.
The mounting takes place on cross braces or railing supports. These cross braces or railing supports are not included with this roof rack. However, they can be ordered from our shop under items 2944 and 2943. You can see in 2 pictures how the mounting of this roof basket on the cross braces with a security lock works. We supply the appropriate brackets for assembly.
The load can be optimally secured to the grid floor with straps. The high edge of the basket ensures good support.
The basket of the roof rack comes in one piece in the box and can be quickly assembled without any special prior knowledge. The feet must be mounted.

If you are looking for a roof rack for a roof tent, there are a few important points to consider:
Carrier system: Make sure that the carrier is compatible with your vehicle. For example, measure the roof width before buying and compare the roof length with the roof rack you are planning to buy. There are different types of carrier systems, e.g. B. for cars with or without railings.
Load capacity: Check the maximum load capacity of the carrier. Your roof tent or outdoor equipment has a certain weight, and it is important that the carrier can bear this. A roof rack that can bear a good load has many holders/feet so that the weight is evenly distributed across the roof of your vehicle.
Accessories: Some carrier systems offer additional accessories such as fastening systems to securely attach the load to the roof rack. If a roof rack has railings, it can be very helpful with particularly large loads. The railings prevent your equipment from slipping and you can attach it better. Long parts such as a parasol can also be permanently mounted on the railings, and spades or car jacks can also find a secure hold along the railings. Other roof racks can have a ladder, which is practical for being able to climb comfortably to the roof tent on the roof of the vehicle.
Another practical accessory for a roof rack can be prefabricated mounting brackets for the high beam lights, LED headlights or fog lights.
